The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S controller has just received some updates. With Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Microsoft opted to slightly evolve its Xbox One controller, the fully opposite strategy of PlayStation, which was completely separated from PS4 dualshock 4 with DualSense of PS5. That said, Microsoft is slowly reinforcing the Xbox Series X | S controller with improvements. For example, Microsoft has just updated the controller firmware with “corrections and updates that provide performance improvements”. Although that’s not all.

In addition to some vague performance improvements, Microsoft has also given the Xbox Series X | S controller a new function. More specifically, you can now reassign the Xbox Series X and Xbox SERIES S share button and assign a wide range of personalized actions. Courtesy of the Xbox Accessories app, now you can reassign the purpose of the button to mute your TV, open your list of friends and do many other things.

For those who do not know, the sharing button allows you to take a screenshot by touching it and recording by keeping it pressed. Of course, not everyone finds this very useful, so you can reassign this button is a very useful feature. Combine this with performance improvements, and it is a great advantage for all who use the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. controller.

These improvements in the controller are only a small part of a much larger update for Xbox consoles. The update also remarkably improves the Quick Resume function and provides a new audio configuration.
