Fortnite Play for free: Battle Royale Free Available
Fortnite was developed from the beginning with two modes: single player and online multiplayer. In the acquisition there is a big difference between the modes. The following distinction is all you need to know to buy Fortnite:
- The Battle-Royale Mode of Fortnite was free from the start. It is available online and can be easily downloaded for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X / S, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS.
- Chargeable is only the single player mode called Fortnite: Save the world. You will receive this by buying the package of the same name. You will find it in the respective store of your platform, for PC players this is the shop of Epic Games. The price is between 10 and 20 euros, depending on the platform and time, as there are often special offers. Incidentally, the founding package does not exist anymore.
Interesting is that the free multiplayer mode has provided for global hype. And although he is playable free of charge, Epic Games makes no loss with it, because Ingame purchases are very popular and ensure high sales, for example by selling dances or skins. This strategy is fired by regular specials and cooperations. The Skin of Bruno Mars is a current example of this.
The singleplayer mode, on the other hand, is relatively unimportant economically: he offers a story that you can play through, but apparently the charm of the spontaneous mass adventure with 99 players is significantly larger.
